1. Get outside and get some sunlight

One of the most important things you can do to prevent winter depression is to get outside and get some sunlight. Natural light is essential for regulating our circadian rhythm, which is the body’s internal clock that tells us when to sleep and wake up. When we’re exposed to natural light during the day, it helps keep our circadian rhythm in sync and improves our mood.
